Who is the patron of Archaeologists?

Thanks to a dear friend of mine I now know the answer!

She is known as Saint Helen, Helena Augusta or Helena of Constantinople.  But what else do we know about her? She is also the saint of: converts, difficult marriages, divorced people, and empresses. Not a bad saint to have it seems!

She was the mother of Constantine the Great. Her Memorial Day / Feast Day is the 18th of August. Which is in only 2 days!

Why is Saint Helena the patron of Archaeologists?

"Because according to legend Saint Helena found three crosses buried under the earth where Christ had died in Jerusalem - the 'Parts of the True Cross'."  (source)
