Ancient Soup found

Ancient Soup found in China

Archaeologists in China believe they have found soup that is 2400 years old. The soup was sealed in a bronze cooking vessel when it was found near the ancient capital of Xian. The soup and bones in the bronze vessel turned green because of oxidation.
"It's the first discovery of bone soup in Chinese archaeological history," the Global Times quoted Liu Daiyun of the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology as saying. (Source)

"The discovery will play an important role in studying the eating habits and culture of the Warring States Period (475-221 BC)." (Source)
