The remains of a distant relative of the Velociraptor was found in Romania. The dinosaur had two claws on each foot and was named Balaur bondoc.
It is said that it was meat-eating and lived in the Late Cretaceous period. The Balaur also has characterisitcs that has not been seen in other predatory dinosaurs.

I don't know much about Velociraptor, but I've seen Jurassic Park... does that count? :)
ReplyDeleteI take it that these are the little dinosaurs which are viciuous bipedal carnivores and hunts in groups in the film???
Tried to follow your blog by clicking the "Follow" button on your sidebar but for some strange reason Google wouldn't let me. I think Google is having issues again with GFC. Maybe they are inundated... probably. It was like this on and off, yesterday too. Will have to come back to try to follow your blog again.
Cherry Mischievous

ReplyDeleteMmm strange about the follow button. I normally just use the one at the top left of my blogger bar, so shrug :(
