A 3,000 year old wooden sarcophagus dating to the 21st Dynasty is being returned to Egypt. It was shipped from Barcelona, but was intercepted in Miami in October 2008.
The Sarcophagus belonged to Imesy and Egypt sued to have the coffin returned. SCA Secretary-General Zahi Hawass will receive the sarcophagus in Washington, D.C. on the 10th of March.
