Hi Amel ...Finally my Post a Comment feature works!

Hi Amel :)

Glad you found my blog!

Hi Ra :)

I don't think you missed much, there is still a ongoing debate about whether Solomon really did exist.

David and Solomon are not mentioned in any Ancient Near Eastern source. All the "normal" artefacts and signs are still missing, such as reliefs and statues, etc.

The Bible is the Primary source of Evidence as I'm sure you know. But I think the biggest problem here is the survival and discovery of other Literary sources.

Looking at the testimony of the Bible, ancient texts, and archaeology is always a delicate task. In my opinion we have to wait and see :)Sugar and Snarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06653208604957196237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5063918604049658549.post-50735389565775901962010-02-24T02:23:24.259-08:002010-02-24T02:23:24.259-08:00I have been gone from the archaeological (and Egyp...I have been gone from the archaeological (and Egyptological) loop for some time and am not up to date at all.
